What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have ideas, they seem to try to encourage growth.
They seem to understand our needs. They also work with our schedules to accomadate our lives.
They are progressive and open minded.
The loyalty to retaining staff even through down turns / layoffs (generally they try to find you another position if your current job is eliminated).
Supportive very understanding and flexible

Actually investigating and listening to complaints about abuse in workplace

Promoting training and being fully staffed.
Thinking long term and valuing employees
Identification of positive workplace practices and greater transparency in lab operations.
They NEED to start rewarding people who show strong consistent work ethics/those who go above and beyond. Too often they sucuumb to the political show where their favoritism defies logic & harms employees, esp women & ppl of color. Accountability & transparency need serious work! Stop mind games!!!!

Insurance coverage and retirement are great
Bi weekly pay. Tax filing assitence
We get a raise on our anniversary and get a raise from our union.
Great health insurance and paid time off
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Incentive based pay rather than simply accurals.
higher pay for someone with a masters degree + 8 years of experience
Never recieved promised trainings or equity reviews. I worked the equivelant of 4 positions yet paid <1. Worked all thru pandemic with pts but was excluded from covid relief bonus. Only got inflation raises. I want equal pay,incentives,sustainable workload. No games. We are not discounted batteries!
Drop MODA and drop ridiculously high payments for senior adminstrators

What are some of the best things about your team?
Comradarie, competence and overall care
Generally there are two types of employees, focused and unfocused. Focused ones are great to work with but they get abused to the point where they choose to become unfocused. Unfocused ones lighten mood but increase the workload/stress. Culture not compliant w/osha breaks/lunches =less interactions
Every one is really nice. Everyone works hard.

Little in person collaboration- lots of virtual meetings with little substantive interaction

They could be better at sharing knowledge and actually training me for my job.
Cross reporting to multiple leads and better representation of minorities

We have a nice discount on food items.

Leadership among medical divisions needs to be reviewed

When issues are reported they need to be addressed and changed. Everything is lip service and every day there are new negatives that employees are told to just deal with while trying to care for patients. Departments are disorganized, laziness rewarded and management dismissive.
Communication and transparency improvements are needed.
More team led initiatives, whereby cohorts are formed by peers on different projects
Support your remote worker and reduce bureaucratic rules
What did you like most about the interview process?
Getting to meet a group of people and be able to impress them enough that i should work here.
Met appropriate people but they were never seen again
Being able to call back the hiring manager with additional comments. He was accessible and receptive.
It didn't last long. And the interview was nice.

Allow potential employees to shadow and read the union contracts so they know what they're getting into by working at OHSU instead of glossing over challenges.
Update positions yearly to accurately reflect compensation, duties/workload expectations, & training opportunities. Making sure employeers don't compare you to the wrong grade lvl, hold biased views, or ask inappropriate questions like "what was your past salary".

I'm most happy when we don t have too many phone calls or if i haven't been told that i've made a mistake.
Providing care to the patients.
Feeling like I made a difference
Good infrastructure, well designed office

Abandoned providers and patients at MCMC in the dalles?

That there are a lot of employee assistance programs.
They treat their employees like family

I feel our probation training period should be 3 months not 6.
