What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is a diverse team of strategic savvy execs who are constantly evolving the company and driving us to multiple consecutive years of success. This is great for moral and financially. They have their eye on every aspect of the meida biz and the direction its heading. Inspiring!
I have confidence in the way executive leadership makes decisions and the way in which they relay their decision-making process to the company as a whole. Communication and transparency is valued here and is better than any other company I've worked. Near and long term plans are solid and strategic.
Driven, thoughtful, inspirational. innovative, kind.
The have made the company finacually stable.

Communicating effectively. Lots of hierarchy issues here.

The leadership at A+E is sorely lacking. While the management and executive tiers are very thick, the know how and experience of management and upper management is weak, leaving employees without real, strong, or forceful managers

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Free health insurance good 401k matching
We have incredibly strong benefits. From a strong cost effective health insurance plan that enables us to cover our whole families to tons of other beneifts, including wellness days whenever you need them; great maternity/paternity policies as well as if you need to care for a loved one or child.
Fair and effective compensation overall.
They offer a fair compensation package. Health benefits are great. Year end incentive bonus, is a worthy gift. Sick days and PTO allowances. And a CEO that goes above and beyond, offering additional PTO days for extended Holidays. Especially during times of Covid.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Sharing the work equally at all levels
I love my team we've made it through a pandemic together! We are driven every day by a deep understanding of the big picture goals of the company. We know what we are working towards and we feel deeply part of the success that we are creating together. My team is smart and fun, proactive and kind.
Everyone has a voice. Executives make it abundantly clear that they're always available to talk, answer questions, etc. It's a very open-door-policy (or a Zoom call away) kind of environment.
The do an amaxing job promiting and marketing our programming.
Exceptional leadership, balanced team culture, always focused on integrity.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Co-workers talk behind each other's back like we're back in high school. Maybe act like grown adults and not try to start arguments due to their egos.

Relaxing environment to work in no stress
Effective leadership, kind people, all focused on common goals.
It is an excellent cukture. Very inclusive and collegial.

Needs more diversity in the leadership team.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The process is fun and fair, the interviewers give a great sense of the role and you get to meet many people on the team and get a true sense of the trend-setting nature of A+E Networks. They are also fully committed to DEI and have been since the company was formed which I very much appreciated!

What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that my personal contributions are helping move the business forward. There is a true sense of excitiment for all of us and we know we are part of a company that has amazing brands, great content across all platforms. We are evolving every minute of every day. It's fun and incredibly excting
The awesome content we make. Proud to be attached to brands and titles that are invited into living rooms, watched on phones, and streamed globally.
The people I work with are exceptional.
The fact that we are able to tell powerful stories.
That I am able to work remotely and not have to worry about public transportation.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We struggle with diveristt, inclusivity and giving minorities a fair chance. Minorities have to prove more thay they are worthy and for a kuch longer period of time, than a white enployee.

Management is very weak which leads to many political and structural issues. Also, lean staffing forces employees to go above and beyond without recognition or acknowledgment. It's just expected.

What do you like best about your company?
Great health benefits if you're a full-time employee. Lots of days off for Holidays but days leading up to them will be dreadful due to work overload to get ahead of the break.
