There is no 'work from home' policy and while you are expected to be in office and work with colleagues generally, peers and superiors are very understanding if you 'need' to work from home for family reasons (or if you don't have any major meetings, etc. Given the cultural importance of spending time with family, it's not unusual to have colleagues working from home when their children or other family members are sick.
