Our sustainability strategy supports our business strategy and contributes to the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 
We focus on four shared value areas where we through our business can develop large-scale solutions that alleviate some of our industry’s and the world’s major sustainability challenges, while at the same time supporting the development of our business. Furthermore, our efforts stand on a foundation of responsible business practices across all the issues that are most important to Maersk and our stakeholders.

We have since 2009 been a signatory to the UN Global Compact and remain committed to operating in congruence with the UNGC principles on responsible business conduct.
