When the families and I connect, there is nothing like that feeling of knowing that you have not just helped them find options and solutions but truly connected. That, along with a really great month of move ins!
Everyone on New England team seems to genuinely want to be helpful to one another- We all agree we have a fantastic regional and everyone pulls together when it's needed which is something you don't often see in such an autonomous / individual work situation.
The base pay has increased since I've arrived and is more commensurate with the work that we do and more realistic to attracting experienced talent. Ultimately we hold the compensation outcome in our own hands and the potential is fairly limitless if you put the work in.
As previously mentioned, the autonomy for me is the most attractive feature of the culture. The ability to allow experienced professionals to govern themselves towards their personal and the company success. I do worry with the new workforce changes, that defining feature will soon be lost.
