What is the best part about your compensation package?
Dental is included in my comp package
I like that they NOW offer some dental, vision, and insurance options
We have a very liberal time off policy as well as maternity leave.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel valued because the amount of work they expect from you and what they pay you isn't even close to being fair
at least, some attempt at a raise.
It would be nice to be treated and supported from the owners
Have more respect around the building. For customers and coworkers.
I bring a lot to the table. I get good hours but I've tried for a raise for a while but to no prevail.
More and more responsibility was piled on top of me with no extra pay, taking charge of multiple departments at once. I was scheduled sometimes 12 days in a row, but not paid overtime, because the "split" at the week change would invalidate it. Better payment/work conditions would feel better!

Not being verbally attacked on a daily basis. Not being lied to and refused my earned time off or paystubs. Being aware of laws regarding paystubs and allowing employees off for court mandated appearances.
Personal paid time off would be a healthy benefit for team moral.

Yes, I am a very hard worker and im very committed to what I do. If I'm going to work some where, then I want to help make improvements. I dont think I am fairly paid for the above average amount of effort and brain power I put into my work.
Our store pay topped out at $12.50 an hour which is challenging since most other stores in the hardware industry offer nearly $15 per hour

The amount of work I was expected to do for minimum wage is insane. We were also forced to chase down shoplifters. Ive had knives pulled on me and got in trouble for not confronting or getting back stolwn merchandise.

Most employees are students who get paid unfairly. Competing companies offer at least $3 more per hour.
I make $435 a paycheck working full time. That isn’t enough to afford rent anywhere in this country let alone food and electricit
