Adelphoi Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Working with the students each day

Being in a positive environment, and enjoying what I do.

pay day, positive outcomes with identified clients

Flexibility to get the job done the way I see fit Being trusted to do the best job

Doing the job I love

I have a great Unit Director who is supportive and who is always willing to listen if any member of our team has concerns. It is also rewarding when the youth in our care make progress in their treatment and are able to be successfully discharged from the program.

Talking with the kids and. Co workers

Talking with coworkers. Also, seeing families working together.

The students; doing what I love and sharing that.

Having interpersonal conversations with youth

being able to change one child's outcome

My team, my job--love helping people in any capacity

The flexibility and line of work i am doing

The dedication, pride, and comradery of my coworkers

Interacting with the kids and facilitating groups.

I enjoy working from home and making my own schedule

The ability to make a difference in the lives of children.

Co-workers and feeling that I have helped someone

Working with the families on my caseload.

When the students are engaged and thinking

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

i really don't know its one day at a time

Caseloads too high, no leadership, no communication, no acknowledgement

Overnight staff needs to be trained better when they first arrive. Basic training does not show overnight staff anything that their job requires. Also requiring daytime training directly after overnight shifts is not fair or safe for those employees.

The work expectations are overwhelming and unrealistic but this is expressed regularly but there is never any change.

pay isn't enough and children who exhibit the same harmful behaviors seem to have very little consequences

Based on circumstances that are allegedly out of our controller, alot of the houses end up getting clients that are more street oriented and aggressive. These are clients that probably better served at more stringent facilities and not group homes. These clients greatly effect the experience

See previous comments about training, pay, improving coworkers performance,

Micromanaging, unclear roles, being taken advantage of, lack of follow through, poor communication.

The lack of communication is ridiculous.

Reduce the size of the company. As a whole there has been a staffing crisis for years, while some programs have been closed there needs to be more. Combined programs, make full staff teams to reduce burn out.

Just about everything is wrong with the company. The higher-ups do not listen to the employees that work within the group homes. The units that are running well do not get recognized and should be. Employees that have been here for 5+ yrs are frustrated that they are making close to the new hire rat

If there's some way for us to decrease the stress of the job for our employees on the front lines ultimately that's what we need to do.

Staff shortage is the most difficult challenge right now.

Do not get paid enough for all that is expected while being short staffed and still having to take on new clients. A higher rate of pay. The quality of food served from the cafeteria has drastically decreased. It is the same food constantly. Cereal and a cereal bar should not be served everyday.

My work load is too much. Meeting after meeting, plan after plan, when it comes down to it my position has way too much for one person. I am NEVER bored. I don't have a day I can say I don't have much to do. I barely have a minute to breathe or do unexpected tasks I am expected to do.

I'm not really sure. I mean, is anyone really ever excited to go to work?

do not want to answer

Supervisors don't always listen when told things.

Director has no investment anymore. Only wishes to obtain a doctorate degree . HAs no interactions with staff. No communication from the top down-EVER

Spending money on this survey for positive marketing quotes instead of on program materials, staff, and data to actually enhance the underlying programs....for a more positive workplace.....to attract employees
