Looking up comparative salary data shows I’m underpaid. Getting paid more would solve that. My manager has made strides

Bold new direction for the company, while still firmly entrenched in the values that led me to join the organization years ago
What makes you most happy at work?
Being in front of prospects and customers and being able to tout the value of our platform, link that to a big pain they have, and then show the solution in a really cool way.

They bring a renewed energy and focus about putting customers at the center of everything. That was Vision Critical's mission statement back in the day, but I think we lost our way at some point. We're back on track now and doing better than ever.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was paid at a below market rate for several years (long story as to why). My current manager is in the middle of getting me up to market value (he's been a huge champion), which I greatly appreciate. So things are turning the corner for me, but historically I've been undervalued.
