Alkami Technology Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Alkami Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Review from IT Dept

it seems thoughtful, it's competitive, and comprehensive

Review from Sales Dept

RSU's. It is a great way to retain employee's and keep them invested in the right things.

Review from Finance Dept

Base Salary and bonus structure

Review from Product Dept

Fair salary and generous PTO.

Review from Sales Dept

My compensation is a good balance of base, variable incentives, and equity.

Review from Engineering Dept

Stock and 401 K matching

Review from Marketing Dept

The ESPP, dental care, and health care.

Review from Product Dept

I like the annual Pay hikes and RSUs

Review from IT Dept

The pay would be the best part.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Getting a stipend to help pay for the extra phone and phone line I had to buy/pay for for work purposes.

Review from Engineering Dept

I feel that it is a competitive salary with bonus potential.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Performance based PTO. Bonus available to non-managers.

Review from Operations Dept

Hands down the stock options and employee stock purchase programs. But, quarterly there are options to participate in cool activities or get legit swag. I'm not talking a branded pen or notebooks. My lululemon bag is a favorite, the charcuterie board always gets kudos at family events.

Review from Sales Dept

The equity compensation is the best part

Review from Product Dept

Fair pay and good 401k

Review from Customer Success Dept

I would say the best part is our flexibility to have work-life balance by the use of our Peak Performance PTO.

Review from Operations Dept

The best part about my compensation package is the work/life balance.

Review from Operations Dept

The 401K plan could be better and healthcare is a bit expensive.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I am grateful I get a paycheck

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I think the compensation is a little low for the job function.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I don't feel undervalued but due to the budget constraints when my role was created, I'm not paid where the scale HR uses says I should be. Therefore it is difficult for me to hire people at the right level because their pay would pass or be too close to mine.

Review from Legal Dept

Sales first compensation structure that doesn't always peel back the layers to where value is driven from in the organization

Review from Product Dept

Better 401 (k) match, increase in pay, and equal SR. level benefits with other positions in the company, like RSUs and bonuses.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The rules around compensation changes have become very strict & there isn't enough opportunity to increase salaries based on performance. There is also an expectation to do more with less & it's beginning to run us ragged. Rather than increase pay or hire more people we're simply expected to do more

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel the only time I hear from anyone is when something has gone bad.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Told I was at the top of the pay scale, but new hires have a larger scale for same level

Review from Engineering Dept

I've been here for almost 4 years and have yet to be consideration for a promotion. I have demonstrated each and every qualifying criteria of a Software Engineer IV (IC4) and have not been considered for the position. I have had conversations with my manager for the past 3 years with no results.

Review from Engineering Dept

The benefits package here is lower than other companies I have been with

Review from IT Dept

I believe that the base salary can be higher and less reliant on a year bonus

Review from Engineering Dept

Insurance coverage is poor. 401k match is very weak.

Review from Engineering Dept

Base pay is low, insurance is expensive and not as supportive as other places I've worked. 401K match is low.

Review from IT Dept

For the hours asked and the work done, compensation is pretty lacking. But to hear those who've worked at Alkami for a long time, the pay used to be the best and the drive to succeed was higher before. It leaves a bad taste.

Review from Customer Success Dept

401k offer low matching. No career opportunity, even after years of exceeding performance reviews. Dwindling perks, free healthcare now costs money. No catered lunch. RSU is decreasing in value, share price has never gotten back to the IPO level.

Review from Customer Support Dept

It is not in par with similar companies in the industry. It could have been better. It is very important to retain the top talent. Hiring and grooming a new candidate is more costlier than retaining the existing one.

Review from Engineering Dept

The amount of work we do is a pretty hefty lift, and I know some of our other counterparts get compensated more with maybe slightly less output. Furthermore, I don't believe our team gets the recognition we deserve for the ARR/MRR that is produced.

Review from Operations Dept

Higher pay for the output provided. 401k match.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I feel like, for the amount of work we are asked to do we can be compensated more

Review from Customer Support Dept

Stuck in a junior role and not enough pay

Review from Engineering Dept

Alkami has grown, and I think it's time to up the salaries for certain groups that do more work than ever.
