Mr. Brian T. Olsavsky has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Amazon.com, Inc. since June 1, 2015. Mr. Olsavsky served as Vice President of Finance for Global Consumer Business at Amazon.com, Inc. from December 2011 to June 2015 and served as its Vice President. Having been with Amazon since 2002, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of the World Wide Consumer Business Group at Amazon.com from 2011 to 2015, Vice Presidencies of Finance in the International and North American Retail functions from 2007 to 2011, as well as leading finance for Amazon's World Wide Operations group from 2002 to 2007. He served as the Vice President of Finance for World Wide Logistics for Fisher Scientific International (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), where he was responsible for the entire finance organization, supporting worldwide distribution, supply chain, transportation and customer service. He also served as Vice President of Finance for the Fisher Chemicals business in New Jersey from 1995 to 1997. He serves on the Tepper School's Business Advisory Board and is the Founder and First President of the Seattle Alumni chapter. In 2013, he received the Alumni Service Award from Carnegie Mellon in recognition of his achievements and service. He serves as a Trustee of Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. He is a Graduate of Penn State University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He later went on to receive an MBA in Finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon.
