AMC Theaters Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

For my location, I love how all of them seemed truly concerned with us workers and try to encourage a positive environment without stifling with false positivity. I do wish however they were better at communicating areas of improvement and were more strict with coworkers who didn't perform their job

Some of them are nice, but the ones who arent will ruin your life

Smart, hard working and very decisive comes to positive decisions! Friendly and professional and exceptional day in and day out!

Review from Product Dept

They are very easygoing and fun. They always make sure we are still treated fairly and with respect.

They are very kind and open to anything

They care about us professionally and personally.

They are nice people always

I felt welcome when I walked in

They listen and respect the workers

How guidance is most important to them.

They listen and make adjustments

I found the team patient and fair

everyone is helpfull with anything you need.

Its a little bit weird

The ability to communicate with them; and their interpersonal communication skills

My manager personally is always willing to help when I don’t understand something or need hel

They are always willing to go out of their way to help and to make AMC a great work environment

They're all chill, my manager is pretty lenient so far (maybe because i'm new)

Evryone needs accountability in their leadership roles.

they allways allow me to have days off

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to employees, making sure they have what is needed to get the jobs done, weeding out the bad employees and recognizing the good ones. Create a positive work experience. Dont micromanage and lose focus of the wider picture. Stop rewarding bad behavior.

Caring more for their employees that have given 15 years, worked on holidays, late nights, been on call, all for minimum wage. Then just push that loyal employee to the side when they ask for help with filing for medical time off after a recent hospitalization- that they were made aware

Helping people when they ask for help

Management-wise: They choose to not communicate with each other. When there is a concern, they hide behind the corner.

Everything, they're all high schoolers

Taking care of their employees

Not enough room to type what's wrong with them mofos

Everything and the job ahows favorism towards different races (skin color)

Review from Sales Dept

Literally everything. AMC management is incompetent.

Review from Sales Dept

Actually dealing with issues rather than yelling at an employee across the lobby to handle it, causing a scene in front of the customers.

Review from Product Dept

organization, professionalism, and unrealistic expectations of employees

Review from Operations Dept

Communication, caring about employees, training

Review from Operations Dept

They need to stop showing favoritism towards people who don't work

Review from Customer Support Dept

Communication and reasoning for actions as they fail to be professional and give information when asked

Review from Customer Support Dept

AMC does not pay employees, checks are always missing or shortened..

Review from Customer Success Dept

better communication, understanding of people learn differently, teaching their employees how to properly do something

Review from Customer Success Dept

Leadership needs to be consistent, the criteria to be leadership needs to be consistent and transparent. Leadership needs to work as hard if not harder than their minimum wage employees. They need to remember that they are just employees of the company as well and need to look out for each other.

address problems correctly not ignore them

Adjusting the workload to the current realities.

They dont get on to the employees thats on there phones not working.
