It was difficult but not ridiculous. It was not only about finding people that are good fits technically, but also that they fit into the company culture.

The time off policy is not here to watch over your shoulder, it assumes that we're all humans and let's us be flexible where needed to handle life's unexpected situations in stride.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People are directed to be flexible and adaptive, but also encouraged to be honest if you don't know something. You'll never be asked to do something that you truly don't agree or can't handle.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I've never been excited about being charitable before working here. This company has given me an added purpose of helping my community and is always understanding of the fact that we are people before we are workers.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I'm actually doing a great job for every person that comes into contact with me or my work. Being recognized not only as a person, but as a company for being obsessed about doing good work and the right thing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Never before in my 15+ years of work have I seen a group of folks so absolutely passionate about not only doing good work, but doing the right thing. This extends beyond just business as usual and into the company approach to helping out other humans in general. Truly inspiring!
