What did you like most about the interview process?

It was very easy to interview, people were pleasant, great scheduling.

The best part about my interview process was the clarity. When it was scheduled, I was made aware within plenty of time, the date and time of the interview were clearly sent and told to me over the phone. I was made aware prior to the interview of the process and what was expected.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

The HireRight (I believe is what it's called.) Is very difficult to interview with. You are not actually speaking to someone and having conversation with you are staring at yourself in a screen trying to focus and keep your thoughts straight.

The time you hear back. I was told when I interviewed I would hear back by the end of the week. I heard back a month later. I've heard familiar instances with other people interviewing.

The interview process takes so long. Most of it just waiting for action on the companies end.

Streamline! One interview should be more than sufficient.

I went through three or four interviews before I was hired, which was ridiculous. The recruiting team is working on an overhaul of the hiring process so things should be better in the future.

The interview is not the issue. There are many barriers to being hired at ArcBest and communication is poor.

Get rid of the video interviews. Let the managers see all applicants for their position and not leave it up to HR to decide if the manager interviews. I think managers miss out on good people because someone in HR decided not to pass them to the manager.

The process needs to be shorter

The interviews were wonderful. It was just a very long and drawn out anxiety inducing waiting game. You have no idea if you did okay, if you got the job, when you will hear back from something or anything. Sometimes you don't even find out you didn't get the position until you see the one hired.

dont take 2 weeks for each of the 4 periods of processing needed to be hired. That shows no level of urgency for interviewing people
