Asurion Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture is inclusive of all! That to me is what makes coming to work rewarding! It is an environment that everyone is able to build success and share their day!

Review from HR Dept

Trust, cooperation, support, and accountability.

Review from IT Dept

Asurion gives me the resources I need to be successful, and allows me to take the risks I need to be successful.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing, the culture is basically sell or be fired. Doesn't matter how you get there. Fraud in a ton of markets but the number looks good so it doesn't matter.

Review from Operations Dept

all-inclusive environment with not only your line of business but other areas outside of you current work environment

Review from Customer Support Dept

Folks are solution-focused, allowing everyone to better learn from mistakes and grow.

Review from Engineering Dept

I am work at home employee. Most of my interactions are through Teams. Most of my interactions on Teams are positive and nice.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Not afraid of a need for change

Review from Marketing Dept

They do a lot of activates for the employees to want to come int o the office - such is life music on the roof top or cornhole tournaments. They offer meditation rooms and classes..

Review from Operations Dept

I am accepted as who i am and am able to bring my whole self to work without fear of being treated differently.

Review from HR Dept

We take One Team seriously - there has not been a person I have asked a question to or needed help and been turned down or pawned off on someone else.

Review from Legal Dept

Everyone sincerely seems to care about the needs of their coworkers.

Review from Engineering Dept

From my own perspective anyone would feel comfortable and included in the company.

Review from Marketing Dept

The company culture is very positive. It emphasizes growth and learning as well as innovation and striving to provide value for our customers.

Review from Engineering Dept

Opportunity and encouragement to be part of those opportunities!

Fun environment with lots of opportunities to network

Review from Finance Dept

That the company and leaders are involved with supporting the ERG's.

Review from Customer Support Dept

the culture that i create for my team

Review from Operations Dept

Teamwork, challenging work, lots of opportunities

Review from Customer Success Dept

You are allowed to be your own person and speak up

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

It does not matter what we say. It will not be heard or be overlooked unless the business is profitable.

Review from Operations Dept

The company needs to spend money to build the brand. We have no commercials, targeted AI ad's, nothing. No one has ever heard of this business.

Review from Sales Dept

Relization that those that do not know their jobs should be let go

Review from HR Dept

Get back to the Asurion culture - the one that valued people, thoughts, doing a few things really well instead of over reaching and putting the company in financial straights. We are all tired and mentally bruised from July. It is going to take time and better direction for a better culture.

Review from HR Dept

Benefits costs went up substantially while overall salary remains flat. The pay for the job responsibilities and industry is low, and title is not commensurate with actual job duties. Some managers are difficult to work with.

Review from IT Dept

Executives need to organize their teams in a way which drives collaboration vs competitiveness/conflict. Too much ownership is given to low level operational roles who struggle to lead technical, product and skilled workers.

Review from Product Dept

Actually allow us to do what we were hired for. Stop threats for lack of sales. Stop the façade of truly caring, and actually care. Reward workers who actually make differences. Focus on more than jus

Review from Customer Support Dept

The culture is fine. No need to change it.

Instead of saying you're listening to the employees, actually listen to them. Get teams to collaborate better. And follow through on promises

Review from Engineering Dept

I don't know if this is across the company, but my area seems stagnant, slow to move away from the "this is how we've always done it" mindset

Review from Product Dept

Stop forcing repair techs to be insurance salesmen.

Leaders at and above the Director level need to make the same changes they are asking Managers and coaches to make to influence culture. Culture is not what we say it is, it is what we do and right now we are doing a lot of talking VS taking action

Review from Admin Dept

more representation of underrepresented minorities.

Review from Operations Dept

actually listen to us, slow down. I cannot stress enough, we are moving too fast. I know companies only care about profits and shareholders at the end of the day, but this pace is absolutely unsustainable. we are losing devs left and right, and before you know it, YOU WILL HAVE NO GOOD PEOPLE LEFT.

Review from Engineering Dept

for me , I use to working big field company, company will send trainer to motivation, skills, idea, sharing for few days, sharpen our mind be positive toward each other, also have competition that's help company build a lo , boost up positive employee as we say win/win situation, growing up healthy

Review from Operations Dept

More diversity. Listen, accept, and "actively support" good ideas that may be outside mainstream

Review from Product Dept

Hiring, Better communication, Better planning

Review from Customer Support Dept

Less micromanaging at the executive level. Reduce the constant updates to the executive levels in separate forums. I have to update multiple decks on a regular basis that all tell the same story but in different formats

Review from Sales Dept

Do away with the grading AI. No work additions without additional compensation. Stop expecting salaried employees to volunteer for "opportunities" where they just work more in order to create a "culture". It's stolen labor. Fix your systems. There's no reason we should be without tools for months.

Review from Customer Support Dept

no hope of growth in the company if your a white male..... Don't meet your quota. Should promote on skills instead of color of your skin.
