Atria Senior Living Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The most positive aspect of the culture and environment at this company comes directly from the frontline staff. Even in the face of challenges, lack of leadership support, and at times unsafe working conditions, the employees themselves are the ones who create a culture of teamwork, compassion.

Review from Admin Dept

The people who live there

The residents are the most positive thing about working there.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The workers band together. Most employees want to do a great job

My colleagues and the activities the company had. Too bad we can't go to them. Or we can, but management will get mad because we could have been working

Promoting resident physical and mental well-being and independence while preserving their dignity.

Helping our residents and families

The management of my community give the part time staff food after meals they work. The give more the the contracted one meal for full time staff

Review from Admin Dept

Open and interacive and collabratve

the staff and the residents minus the gm

There are always events to show appreciation, expand our knowledge, have us network with other departments.

The residents are extremely friendly.

Help each other if needed

The residents are wonderful people

The kitchen and its staff

The residence. I like my job because of the residence, everything I do, I do for them.

Getting to know the residents

Our GM and Assistant GM are amazing

its like an extended family

Most positive would have to be the residents

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

No more free survey info from me at this time

bring in some leaders that know and understand the industry

Treat the employees with respect and compensate them appropriately.

Review from Operations Dept

Comprehensive trainings, direction and information.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Stop promoting independent living 90% are not independent. These elderly need help, sales are more important. Get the move in and we can deal with the care portion later. It's wrong and the only way to grow occupancy and not be fired is lease to anyone with a heartbeat. Money mongers.

Management and organization and seniors health and safety

A sense of teamwork or cohesiveness

Directors should dress for work, not sweat pants and sweat shirts. Praise line staff work.

Stop hiring people who don't know how to effectively perform their duties.

Better communication and more equaility

Everything needs to change, Mostly management.

Better management at facilities everywhere

At this point not sure there is a solution. Upper management needs to listen & work to solve the concerns local mgmt has for its residents & staff. Sometimes you must sacrifice short term profits for the longterm well being of residents, employees & long term profits!!!

Stop talking negatively about people you don't like co-workers and management

Employees who are harassing to other employees need to be reprenwnded they make other employees leave

Review from Customer Success Dept

Staff feel dissatisfied with compensation and appreciation. During a Covid outbreak they are not paying their staff for forced time off due to obtaining Covid on the job.

Review from Operations Dept

people that will listen and help with problems.

Review from Operations Dept

Everything. Treat women as equals and lose the boys club mentality.

Review from Operations Dept

Management only cares about saving money

Review from Operations Dept

Get bought out by a company that know what they're doing.
