As clinicians we are empowered to make independent decisions for how we provide care to our patients.
Better medical health insurance. It pays for very little and considering we have to use our company for all services to be covered by insurance you would think it would pay for the majority of the care.
Less defensive talking -more give on working together across departments. Part of the problem is how each department is budgeted. Management is encouraged to decrease the budget by a certain % each year & VP mgmt gets a bonus for coming in under budget. This causes friction b/n departments.
