They need to replace the entire executive team. AE is way too top heavy. There are Managers who don't manage anyone (and dont do any work). Many of the current executives were also hired based on DEI/non-job realated experience, and have no business trying to run a ulitity.
Leasership is spotty at best. No people vision.
That it be market for the work.
AE is a company of extremes. It has some of the best people and some of the worst. The problem is you cant fire or sometimes discipline the bad employees so the good ones have to do double the work to make up for the lack of work or correct the mistakes of the bad employees which causes burnout.
There should be a qualified expert leading culture change on the executive team.
It sometimes takes years to hire people. Its very cumbersome and it involves too much red tape and DEI style questioning and scoring.
AE's reputation took a major hit due to Winter Storm Uri. Two years later it took a hit again with Mara. As previously mentioned, the executives are bad, they and others need to be replaced and the way AE hires or promotes people needs to be changed.
