The CEO is great, the rest of the C-level is just fighting amongst themselves, doing what is best for them (not what is best for the company.)
They have a good balance of communication and listening. They also help drive a lot of clarity on our mission.
THe executive team appears to "walk the talk". You do not get a sense that they are just giving lip service when they talk about the culture, Mission, or goals.
Women. Stop saying you don't have a boys club, especially in company meetings. You have a boys club. In the last year, two men have accused women of being angry at work out of passion questioning the whether they wanted to work here. Knock. it. off.

I feel like Axon keeps finding new and thoughtful ways to compensate me more. It may be something like a ski day where they pay for lift tickets and rentals and transportation, or having really good snacks... but it all feels kind to me.

Mutual respect. Everyone seems to make the assumption that we are all there for a reason: we are all good at our jobs and all worthy of each other's respect.
They don't understand our problem space but act like they do so confidently, it makes me monkey clap at their expense.
We're fun, we have a good team culture, we can openly talk to each other and support each other.
Collaborative and expect candor in our discussions. Mutual respect among disciplines like product, engineering, and design.

Assuming the best of each other and making sure that what we request of each other is reasonable.
How much people find the right people to complain to without being a nark.
The mission is important, especially in light of the last two years and the BLM movement. I want to impact social change, not just talk about it.
There is a sense of urgency about our mission. This keeps a culture of feeling very driven. The teams aren't afraid to move quickly, learn and iterate.
