Overall my experience at BambooHR has been great. I've loved the people that I work with and I feel like BambooHR and the leader teams do care about me and my life outside of work. I think the only point of criticism I have is compensation. It does feel a little on the low side compared to others.

How's the leadership on the Sales team at BambooHR?
Very open and helpful. They're not micromanagers but instead will spend time where needed.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at BambooHR?
Positive and comfortable
How do I do well in an interview at BambooHR?
Be yourself - if you're a fit they'll hire you.
How long do the interviews usually take at BambooHR?
30-60 minutes.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at BambooHR?
I don't feel like the questions were difficult but the one that required the most thought was "when is it appropriate to miss quota?"
What questions do they ask during the interview process at BambooHR?
They'll ask a lot of the standard questions that sales companies ask (I'm in sales) but they're always looking deeper than how you respond to see the underlying reasons to why you responded that way. They also do role plays and situational questions.
How would you compare interviewing at BambooHR to other places you've interviewed?
It was much more comfortable and welcoming than anywhere else I've interviewed. A lot of other companies will bring in random reps that will boast about their "success" to try and impress me but that's a huge turn off because it seems unauthentic. BambooHR sets very clear expectations and they'll stay true to those.
What's the Customer Support team like at BambooHR?
Customer Support here isn't like the typical Customer Support 1) because we have an amazing product and so a lot of the questions are how to use it vs. complaints 2) we have amazing clients and 3) we hire individuals who think beyond the current question to elevate clients' understanding and to infuse strategic value. A lot of times clients are viewing our Help content (which is way above industry standards in terms of support) and just have a clarifying question or two. Our Support team works together to help each other learn and grow. We have great response times to calls and emails and we are always identifying areas to further improve clients' experiences.
