  • These options could be greatly improved. Barracuda in the UK do not offer private healthcare / dental. They offer Vitality, which is a form of private healthcare - and classed as a taxable benefit - which employees need to pay for out of their monthly wage - if they want to take advantage of this.

we have a flex work policy which means each division has it's only requirements. Some groups require 0 days in office, others require 5 days. Most teams have 2-3 days in office. My group requires 2 days but my leaders are pretty flexible with it

  • In the UK this is virtually non-existent. Employees were only allowed to work from home during lockdowns, which means working from home was a MUST, wherever possible. Since these restrictions have been lifted, it is expected that you are in the office 5 days a week. This is a huge frustration for some people who simply want a bit of flexibility and trust from the company. After two years of proving we can be successful from home, why is this such a huge issue?

Yes, we have a program called Giveback@cuda where twice a year everyone is offered an opportunity to participate in a big project but each office does their own volunteer work too, we do a lot around the holidays especially

  • No, however I really think they should introduce this. Many companies offer a certain number of "Charity / Volunteer" days per year - I think this is really important to show the company cares.

  • Everyone prioritizes to get the work done but with so much of the cross functional partnerships being global, there is a lot of flexibility in the day. If I need to go on a personal errand during the afternoon, I feel 100% comfortable doing that.

I imagine each group is a little different, but it is what you make it. We're all busy and need to take time for ourselves and a hear my boss and other leaders reminding us to take mental health time, lots of walks during the day, etc.

excellent. all of our changes recently have been positive but nothing is ever bullet proof safe but overall, I feel very good about the company and it's future

my leader says 70% of our job should be something we know well and 30% should be new and uncomfortable, so I feel confident in my function but am able to stick my neck out for a challenge when I see it.
