Mr. David Peter Schmidt has been an Executive Vice President and President of Bonefish Grill at Bloomin' Brands, Inc. since September 9, 2016. Mr. Schmidt is responsible for leading the operations and development of more than 200 Bonefish restaurants across the United States. With 20 years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Schmidt has extensive experience in many facets of the restaurant business. He joined Bloomin??? Brands in 2006 as Vice President of Finance for Bonefish Grill. During his tenure, Mr. Schmidt has held various operations and finance leadership positions, including an extended rotational role in the field. He also served as a Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Vice President of Productivity and most recently as Group Vice President of Finance, with responsibility for leading the financial planning and analysis function for Bonefish Grill, Carrabba's Italian Grill and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Prior to joining Bloomin??? Brands, Mr. Schmidt spent six years at Avado Brands (McCormick & Schmick's, Don Pablo's and Hops Grill & Brewery Restaurants) where he served in multiple functions, most recently as Vice President of Finance. Mr. Schmidt has a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
