How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at BP?
It was fairly typical. Overall a good experience.

What should I wear for an interview at BP?
Nice pants or jeans and a nice shirt. The same thing you'd wear to any interview.
Comfortable clothes. Probably casual or sport casual will be sufficient.
How can I improve my chances of being hired at BP?
Gas stations are for uneducated or undereducated people. No part of the job requires any real brain activity. Anyones chances are great. Unless u forget to pay for milk.
Embrace diversity of thought, focus on the doing the right thing, and focus on building people/relationship skills.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining BP?
That they jump to conclusions, hold people down and act like a galon of milk is a thousand dollars in cash.
How difficult it was to advance within the rank of leadership.
What's the office layout like at BP?
Its dirty and cluttered.
In most offices in the US, they are cubes and more open environments.

For an oil and gas company, they are at the front edge of innovation.
Is there a career path on your field? How often line manager provides feedback on career path?
Not much. it's about carving your own here at BP.
How are the benefits at BP for employees in IT?
Before the oil downturn IT staff was continuosly trained. There are still opportunitiesfor self-development.
What's the internship program like at BP?
It is well organized and planned. A group of volunteer employees sets up intern selection and recruiting interns. Once selected and offers made with attractive pay rates, BP is very careful about the onboarding to ensure the intern has been provided with everything they need to allow a successful and productive outcome.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at BP?
The culture is pretty solid here in the month I have been here.

They really like and admire our CEO.

Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from BP?
Chief architect, CIO, and line manager. I heard back within 48 hours.
How flexible is your work schedule at BP?
We work a 9/80 schedule as is, so it is a great schedule to work. But when life happens, BP tells you to go and handle it without issue.
In your opinion, what are the most common interview questions that BP asks?
How are you the best candidate? How do you handle stressful situations?
What's the work from home policy like at BP?
As needed. We just built an amazing new office space where everyone has an office, plenty of meeting space, and places to just hang out.

Fat disgruntled hillbillies mostly. Or leftover hookers from the strip clubs.
How's the work life balance at BP?
Depends on the individual.

Not even an iota.
What's the Customer Support team like at BP?
Its the last gas station team that is owned and run by americans. I have nothing negative to say about bp. The American government has handed our cou try over to middle easterners. Its pathetic. American people no longer work in gas stations.
How do you feel about going to work at BP everyday?
Currently, not very motivated.
