BP Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

BP - America, Durango set the standard for safety, environmental concerns, and quality.

diversify and Inclusive environment at my company

diversity, inclusion and the design team are amazing

The diversity and inclusion is great

I struggle with an honest answer on this one also. It's a good environment if you work under a fair and reasonable manager and supportive team. It's not a very good environment to work in if you work under a manager that is controlling, unreasonable and a deep lack of empathy or support.

Everyone encourages others to speak if they are shy, they are welcoming

Everyone is willing amd eager to help each other succeed.

We all get along which makes us a good team.

Respect and result oriented approach

bpx really tries to live up to their word to be a premier onshore operator. As compared to peers the company is as fair or more fair when it comes to handling employees on the HR front and layoffs partially due to being part of bp.

Review from Engineering Dept

Many different kinds of people from different walks

Review from Customer Support Dept

There is no positivity. The manager is constantly screaming at everyone, employees and customers, and we're constantly told how we don't know how to do our jobs correctly.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Multicultural and energetic workplace environment.

Review from HR Dept

It is dynamic and ensures your well being.

Review from Operations Dept

Review from Business Development Dept

Regional teams are knowledgeable and good to work with

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

upper management, HR, polices, training

The whole system and company need to change towards training and employing

Improve equipment and working environment at the core, transparency greater integrity, work to legislation

rethink HR and their accountabilities, better senior leadership

Complete evaluation of middle management, during "bp reinvent" so much focus was spent on the top half of organisation that the remainder e.g. vast majority of employees were simply left behind. There has been so much talent leakage from bp over the last few years... Seriously ask Why?

Less computer based training that doesnt pertain to your job

Leadership needs to change soon.

They need to change the way they treat us

Treat people right and give them what they deserve

Managers need to be held more accountable for team members progression.

Review from Business Development Dept

More incentives and more demonstration of care for the people aspect of the organization

Review from Sales Dept

We need better management . A bad boss ruins a business.

Review from Sales Dept

There could be more diversity

Review from Sales Dept

better support and better communication

Review from Sales Dept

some kind of uncertinty and unhealthy competition

Review from Operations Dept

get leaders into position that can understand the people, not just the bottom line

Review from Engineering Dept
