Builders FirstSource Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

THE BENEFITS ARE INSANELY AMAZING

The cost is on par with market value

Bonus pay and opportunity to earn more.

Unlimited vacation for all outside sales

Profit sharing is a plus

The best part has to be the amount of vacation time and profit sharing they give. Its really nice to know the company is willing to give a little extra for hard work and incressed profits.

Review from Product Dept

Overall fair the compensation package is comparable to other similar positions at other companies.

Vacation holidays and 401k also insurance

bonus and ltip targets are strong

Affordable insurance belps out nicely

Tbe match in the 401 k

Review from Operations Dept

The medical could be better.

Not sure, I'm focused on the lack of leadership

Little to no costs on prescription, or doctor visits.

The 401 k match that company invests

The matching 401K contributions are better than with most other companies.

Review from Operations Dept

Paid well, benefits are fair , paid time off could be better

Full Benefits and access to everything via an app

Review from Product Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Do what they say they are going to do

Review from Operations Dept

I feel I could be paid more for the work I do

Review from Sales Dept

There are too many different pay rates in one building. I don't feel the pay is very competitive with other companies

It would make me fell better if instead of pats on the back for loading carts to go on trucks, taking care of the will calls, and dealing with broken equipment. If i got paid my worth. $16 a hour is a joke.

I have actually worked for this company since 1969 We used to own the trucking that done the deliveries and when we sold did not negotiate like we should have for vacation so I only receive 2 weeks of vacation when I actually have worked over 50 years for this company delivering materials.

Wish they offered a stock purchase plan for employees

To pay people what they deserve

I have been working more than just my job on everyday bases. I have not seen a pay raise in a couple years to even pay what I was told my position would be paid. I feel as if I am wasting time . I am a hard worker and yet expected to do a 5 man job daily. Thats NOT right

Being pid for my worth. An employee shouldnt wait weeks for an answer on being compesated and a raise. If an employee is a All star. Treat them like it, shirts, hats, and sweaters dont pay the bills.

I resigned and still cosult with contractors and they buy from competitors my value is missed

I know my value thats why I resigned

General manager/ assistant manager/sales manager

To be paid for knowledge and hard work

Take some of thise millions and invest in better healthcare and benefits for employees!

Review from Operations Dept

You can't feed us at Xmas tell us you grew to 18 billion in net worth yet pay your assemblers 15-17 a HR.with 3% raise barely keeps up with cost of living increase

Boss assigns me tasks and then takes the credit for the product.

Pay and treatment by operation manager

Working non stop lifting heavy doing backbreaking physical labor for the same amount of pay as a high school child working at taco bell

Management has no desire to address employee concerns and basic safety. Average pay is inconsistant.

I feel I should be being paid more for the spot that I'm in
