The honesty and empathy. Any manager can be "nice" or encouraging. This executive team is genuine and, like any of us, are doing the best they can.

I am not sure which leadership team you are referring to. However, it seems that upper management (not local) is out of touch with basic business practices... I mean what it takes to make this business work on a day to day basis. The personnel and training to get the work done.

No favoritism, less hiding behind company polices

The leadership team needs to remember there is a person behind the spreadsheet. There is more to being a leader than having a good P/L sheet.

Communication in a clear way, and not with corpo jargon.

They need to hold people accountable and the ones that need held accountable. There seams to be a buddy system where the buddies do no wrong when it is plain in sight and the people who try to do their best get overlooked or told they are doing wrong. I would be willing to talk to someone if wanted.

I mean my direct manager is good, I have no clue who the executive team is besides who Peter Jackson is, They don't bother to leave the comfort of HQ or their at home comfort jobs where all they do is teams meetings all day. How can you really be a leader with out even meeting who you lead

Put processes in place, pay people, have a system to move up, hold management accountable, put the people over the shareholders, stop raising the bar to impossible levels when goals are met

Listening and recognizing the individuals. There are ups and downs in every market. We celebrated so hard when we hit those highs, but now that we've come down, it feels like we are continuously getting our teeth kicked in.

My manager is inconsistent. creates rules that apply to the team but not to themselves. My manager does not have meetings with the team at all, with the exception of yearly reviews which they wait to the last minute to go over. not enough room to explain.
Review from Sales Dept
Leadership needs to actually listen to the employees when they bring up concerns or suggestions to best practices. There is a huge disconnect between what management says is going to happen and what actually takes place on a daily basis.

Involving lower and mid level managers in next level projects, information and decisions. Growth through guided experience. Too often growth is calculated by how fast one can figure things out, and not how well we can prepare them.

INTERACT. IT SEEMS THAT THE ONLT TIME WE SEE ANY MANAGER, IS WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. THEY SHOULD STOP BY AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK TO SAY HELLO TO THE TEAM. TRY TO ACT LIKE THE TEAM IS IMPORTANT.
