Q&A With Calabrio Employees

Asked to all employees at Calabrio

  • It depends on your manager - some are good at keeping work and life separate, but some RND managers constantly ask for work after hours, or send messages in the evening that are expected to be responded to (when you're not on call) immediately. Working longer hours is encouraged, and some senior management seem to be of the opinion that you cannot work unless you're at your desk.

  • For the most part, its about average. Key is that if you do not speak up; the expectation is that you are always ready for more work.

  • Company growth demands exceeding personal time

  • Depends on where you are - if you're in RND, it's still a bit of a masculine/bro environment, though there are efforts to change this right now.

  • With an open concept office, its pretty easy to connect with whomever you need to. There are few (if any) barriers (physical or otherwise) between teams. Especially at the single contributor level, its very easy to collaborate and address tasks at hand.

  • Casual. Fun.
