We have broken equipment for the students. People are quitting all the time. When new employees start I never know who they are, or what their jobs are. The school is half the size it use to be, which make me nervous about job security. Unorganized, no one ever knows what is going on.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone says hello to each other.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication. Hiring staff that is qualified for the position they hold.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They tattle instead of coming to the person and having an adult conversation.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Hiring enough staff. I can not even take vacation because there is no one that can cover my classes.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Gym membership reimbursement, having someone to come in to do our yearly labs that are required by the insurance. Free education. Paying for my licenses that are required. Office furniture that is not broken.
