I love to teach and the students we have here are amazing. Administration tasks have been a challenge to master and I am still learning, as I don't have reliable resources and I find myself having to constantly chase people down for "how-to's" or to help resolve issues. There was no real on-boarding
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are usually friendly when you interact with them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Interacting with and teaching the students. Some enrollment representatives are friendly and informative.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It is a very closed-off environment and people keep to themselves or in cliques. It can be intimidating for new hires.
What makes you most happy at work?
Teaching my students new concepts, making my own personalized lesson plans and helping to be a part of my students' process to becoming successful pharmacy technicians.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My wage was not proportionally increased according to my previous rate when minimum wage was changed in California. I had bargained for a rate that was above minimum wage salary upon hire.
