The company makes it very obvious that profits are the only goal. They don't invest in equipment for students, appropriate pay for the educators, or anything that may be considered "extra" to benefit the students. Its clear the company's only goal is to pocket money and print diplomas.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all want to teach students.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all want to work to ensure the best outcome for the students and to make sure the students understand the material.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My program director actually seems like she cares about the staff she directs as well as the students that are apart of her program.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Pay a comparable wage and hire appropriate staffing. Discussing curriculum decisions with the staff implementing the curriculum to avoid mistakes that cost the students learning and education time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being paid a wage that would be comparable if not better than what I would be making on the clinic floor being a tech. I've worked at privately owned hospitals that cover 100% of the cost of their staff's medical insurance, but at Carrington my coverage already got increased before 1 year of employ
