Relaxed, to the point and on time
Very good! It was a comfortable, open, honest conversation about my background, the needs of the organization, the direction of the role as well as the company, and where I saw myself fitting into the big scheme of things.
The interview experience was pretty casual and I could have been less nervous. At the beginning it took a lot of following up because they only had one person in HR but now there is a whole team and it is now very fast and streamlined.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Celtra, Inc.?
No complaints so far
Culture is a pretty big focus for both the executive team and the management team. With such a large group of individuals, it isn't always easy, but it would be great to have more opportunities to bring the whole team together - to enjoy one another ... because it's such a fantastic group of people!

What's the work from home policy like at Celtra, Inc.?

Celtra employees are entitled to working remotely 10% of the time. Exceptions are granted as needed.
We have a Flex August policy and we are very flexible and everything is up for discussion.
We are in the middle of a work from home month as an experiment. We do not typically get to work from home during the rest of the year, so this is to see if this policy will succeed or not.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Celtra, Inc.?
ask questions to connect the dots! understand the role and impact you will be making.... and really equip yourself with as much info as you can so that you will be able to have full ownership of your role and understand the inner workings of the team

when the entire company gets together, it's SO much fun. Celtra knows how to throw a beautiful event and it's such a good feeling having everyone from around the work celebrating together

in the US we get 20 vacation days each year, plus 5 sick days and like 12 or 13 paid holidays

Pretty big focus on the impact you've made in previous roles, and an understanding of your ownership abilities.
What is the onboarding process like at Celtra, Inc. and how long does it last?
Celtra sets new hires up with a training program to introduce them to the different department functions, and also a 90 day plan that will help guide them through the on boarding process to make sure they are on track with what they're being exposed to, what they're learning, and what they're starting to take on by themselves.
What kind of activities do employees at Celtra, Inc. participate in outside of work?
As a group, sports, happy hours, dinners, differently quarterly events... Individually, the interests are pretty diverse. A lot of people are into sports and fitness, others music... its a great mix.

I haven't had to relocate but I know others who have to work closer to the team and Celtra was flexible on providing them assistance in doing so.

Celtra's very good at promoting... Employees have quarterly evaluations and have the opportunity to discuss their growth interests and career paths, and understand what needs to be accomplished in order to get them to the next stage.

Creative problem solving, team player, adaptable, and strong work ethic.
Collaboration, open-mindedness, creativity, flexibility, self-motivator, thirst for knowledge, resilience.... just about everybody on the team has a solid mix of these, and it makes for a positive and productive working environment
What do you wish you knew before starting at Celtra, Inc.?
I think all of the things I didn't know came as very pleasant surprises. How much I fell in love with the team, the challenges, how I was constantly pushed to deliver above and beyond. I've been here for a handful of years so the company really grew up together.
