
I enjoy working remotely. It's a huge factor in my happiness. I also enjoy being trusted to do my job, without micromanagement. Those two things make me happy at work.

Being owned by Bain Capital is a huge negative. They are only concerned about the bottom line and not the employees. Take the company public and start awarding stock to the employees. Once they have a share of ownership, their attitudes will change tremendously.

I don't feel heard, the company only cares to hear feedback once a year with their Employee Engagement Survey and it takes them MONTHS (sometimes a year or longer) to actually see any action out of them. Also, when we find an issue, it is difficult to get anyone to accept fault so it can be remedied

Engineers should not do ANY work before a specification document has been approved. So much work is wasted when we start before this. There should also be a singular location for team specific, high quality trainings for new people.

Customers are frustrated. The sales team sells products that aren't developed yet and don't have a clear way of identifying which products they should/shouldn't sell. Projects sold w/out enough milestone hrs. Changing systems very quickly (teams/slack, openair/ff, jira/azure) w/ out enough guidance.

ELT and managers need to realize that their decisions affect people's lives.......especially our stress levels. Don't make rash decisions that require employees to instantly shift focus and put off other priorities that will still have to be done in a timely manner. Stress LITERALLY kills!
