Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Decided to leave before my job was considered "unnecessary" and found that I was being under-compensated to such a degree that co-workers and my new company PITIED ME! 45k increase in overall salary!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not driving the company into the ground by laying off, by now, practically the entire infrastructure, systems, operations, development and database teams. We have been running on a skeleton crew for just under a year, and now employees as jumping ship (myself included) to positions paying double!
