Chatterkick Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Meeting a bunch of different members of the team during different interview sessions. It was nice to know who I would be directly working with and also who the other people I might be working with were.

I got to meet many of the team members.

Their questions were direct and thoughtful in order to find the most skilled and best fit applicant for the team.

I got to meet one-on-one with the CEO very early on and felt like I earned my position on my proven track record and skills rather than my pedigree.

Review from Marketing Dept

I liked that the interviews felt conversational with a clear objective. I never felt uncomfortable and it was neat meeting my current team members while I was interviewing.

It's transparent and easy to navigate.

The interview process at Chatterkick was unlike any I've ever experienced. I had three interviews, one with the CEO of the company, one with my department, and one with my pod. It was a great way to determine whether it was a cultural fit, a personality fit and a fit for the skills that were needed.

The interview process has improved significantly in the past couple of years. It feels way more prepared and easier to process potential new employees. They've really made the effort to make the interview process chill and informative, but also engaging the current team in the process.

It really felt like Chatterkick took the time to get to know me, my abilities, and my personality- and in turn, they let me get to know them too. It was a long process, with multiple interviews, but by the time I started, I felt like I already had begun developing relationships with my coworkers.

The interview had several steps but they all lead to getting to know the team better.

Review from Marketing Dept

It felt less like a performance I had to put on to get hired and more like a conversation to get to know people I could work with.

I had a relationship with the hiring manager before I was hired. So I didn't have a traditional interview. I was previously doing contract work for the company before they had an opening and decided to hire me on full time. So y process was more of a "trial run."

Review from Design Dept

It was quick and easy but I felt like I was being heard.

Review from Marketing Dept

I liked how organic the interview process was. I didn't feel like I was being grilled; it was an open and honest conversation to find out if I would be a good fit for Chatterkick and if they would be a good fit for me.

Review from Marketing Dept

Got to know the people I would be working with.

I met a few different people in the decision-making process instead of just having to impress one person.

Personable - wants to know about your own life and what talent you could bring.

I met with both my direct manager and the CEO. After we talked through the technical parts of the job they also made sure it would be a good personality and culture fit.

Review from Marketing Dept

They really wanted to know what I liked doing on a day to day basis.

When being interviewed, everyone was super nice and helpful. It made the interview process less stressful.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

It's a pretty long interview process from the first interview to actually starting the onboarding process. Interviewing with so many different people and teams seemed to drag on a bit!

Review from Marketing Dept

A lot of things can happen in the interview process that can delay/slow things down. Communication with the potential hire can suffer because of this and with today's job climate that can be damaging
