He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Roses Stores Inc., from 1978 to 1994. Mr. Anderson served as the Chief Executive Officer of Roses Stores Inc., from August 1994 to December 1997. He has been the Executive Chairman of Citi Trends, Inc. since March 23, 2017. He served as Non-Executive Chairman of Citi Trends, Inc. since April 2, 2016 until March 23, 2017 and served as its Executive Chairman from October 2011 to April 2, 20216 and as an Advisor & Counselor to Mr. Mazzola. He served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Citi Trends from April 2, 2010 to October 2011 and its Executive Chairman from April 5, 2009 to April 2, 2010. He served as Chairman of Roses Stores Inc. from August 1994 to December 1997. Mr. Anderson served as an Executive Chairman of Citi Trends since May 1, 2006. Mr. Anderson has been a Director of Citi Trends, Inc. since December 2001.
