I have a meaningful role, enjoy the communication with the team, and feel valuable. I enjoy contributing to the success of the organization, no matter what assignment I'm given.

Lots of smiling faces, and can do attitudes!

Many team members at City are proud of their work, and focused on achieving success. I love that City has the motto we don't say that's not in my job description.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel that when your duties and assignments change drastically to accomplish so much more for the organization, so should your rate of pay. Title changes are not the same as promotions.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all have each other's back- ready to support in any way. Strong team environment. Caring coworkers that are genuinely invested in each other. I have to say, that even goes across departments, which is nice!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

That they generally respond to your concerns within a timely manner, or point you in the right direction of who can support. Many of the leaders here are personable, likable, down to earth, available, and focused on the success of the company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Our Year Beginning Meeting (YBM) allows us to understand the companies goals for the upcoming year and kind of get the year started on a positive note- at the end of the year, we get to recap our success from the previous year as well.

Being part of a thriving team. I appreciate when leaders of the business consult workers to ask for their feedback before making changes to know the full impact and gain our buy in, partnership & support on changes and new initatives. It makes me personally vested in the success of the company.
