I took a huge leap of faith leaving my previous job to come here and I can say it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I love it here.
My experience has been awesome. From my first phone call to present day, everyone is incredibly welcoming and kind. There has been a clear list of expectations for my role. My manager/mentor is always there to guide me and also challenge me to keep me learning. Everything has been really great.
I would say it's all pretty great
Their trust and clear communication
It is competitive and we are eligible for quarterly bonuses.
Quarterly bonuses. I've never had a bonus before so it's a very nice extra.
My team is amazing at pulling together to make things work, find solutions & support one another.
Getting better each day makes me most happy, retaining something new I'm learning, and having a positive impact on our clients.
Knowing I made something easier or more efficient for someone makes me happy. I love knowing I made a positive impact.
I love the clear communication on the direction we are going in as a company and the trust they have in their employees.
Trust & Communication. I have worked quite a few places but Civic takes the ultimate cake when it comes to trusting and communicating with all of us.
For me, being 100% remote could feel isolating but not with my team. They are always in communication and inclusive. They have fun together and work hard.
Getting to be a part of this team/company and doing what I do each day. I love my job. I am so thankful to be where I am.
How welcoming every single person is. From my interview process to present day, every single person has been so warm and welcoming it made me feel like I was speaking with friends or family.
I think it can be difficult to feel connected to people when working remotely but our team finds little ways to keep that connection going. We share special moments via photos, we joke on our calls and make meetings fun.
The trust here is huge. I feel like an actual adult in my career, I am trusted to get my work done without being micromanaged, it's wonderful and so refreshing (I am fairly new). I also love how inclusive and team oriented everyone is. We work together.
This goes back to the being remote thing, I think we do a great job at including everyone near and far. We have a parent channel on teams, we have events we can video call into. We include everyone and make sure they feel included and wanted in all we do.
