  • Great! So far this has been my favorite organization in terms of work life balance. They respect "My time" and very generous in terms on PTO and they have a unique concept of #paidpaidvacation where they contribute if you are going out on vacation.

  • Excellent. This is my fourth company and this is the best in terms of work-life balance.

  • Very, very good. Best I have ever seen at a product startup.

  • Amrinder is highly respected in the organization. He is a super mentor, anyone who has been touched by him even for a day will say so!

  • He is a techie like rest of us. No airs about him - very personable. But he can be impatient, with anyone. He can usually break the hardest of the hard problems into 2 or 3 easy to do items. (That is one of the reasons we succeed so often.)

  • Great! Their benefits are excellent - healthcare an trainings are like cherries on top!

Very casual sometimes it is at coffee shop! It doesn't seem like they are testing you but they actually are!

  • Very relaxed, friendly and casual. They invited me to the coffee shop and we just had a conversation!! It just didn't seem like an interview. Amrinder, who is also the CEO, is very technical and it is very difficult to fool him. So if you don't know the answers, say No. There is a lot of focus on a behavioral aspect of personality, so if you are witty and pleasing, you have actually won half the battle.

Asked to the Engineering Department at ClayHR

  • I work closely with Engineering, but not in Engineering myself. Work life balance is good, but of course, product company and things can get hectic. Just today, the Eng Team worked about 2 hours extra with me, unplanned. That is life. Many Fridays, they get to pack up around 3 PM too though. Average must be around 45 for the week..

  • Well I am in customer success, not in Engineering, but I work closely with Engineering. They usually work about 9-9.5 hrs I think but that includes lunch. It is high energy work, but not crazily long in terms of hours.

  • Excellent. Their onboarding process is very strong and the tasks are assigned to the team members for knowledge transfer and training. This is the place to be at if you want to learn something. If you want to hide behind a big team of people then try other service organizations.

  • There was a hypothetical ethics question involving a bug or a feature. Essentially, it was testing how clearly you can articulate to the customer that there is a bug in the system. If you are asked this question and your response is anything other than being completely transparent with the customer, you will likely not receive a favorable response to your interview. Further, you need to think about how to help that customer in _that_ moment, this is something that is well set in the company culture.
