Overall, I have had a very positive experience. My fellow employees are kind, knowledgeable and supportive. The managing staff I report to are supportive, positive and protective. All of this provides a happy and comfortable environment to work.
What makes you most happy at work?
My working environment and location. Working with my team and supporting them in the multitude of things that can happen in a work day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The PTO time along with the additional holiday time Cognia provides allows for more balance. Cognia's contribution to the employee retirement plan is above expectations.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company is supportive and flexible to work and home situations. The company is based on learning and support which in turn creates employees who are engaging.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team works together and is always available to help each other out. Each member has their own set of skills that helps the department be at their best.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very knowledgeable and well educated. They provide and promote an open door policy to assist you, which is beneficial to have. Our president provides the communication to the company. It would be engaging to hear from the other members of our Leadership team.
What did you like most about the interview process?
In my situation, I was contacted very quickly by the person I would report to. He conducted the interview casually and informative so it gave me a sense of what he would be like to work for. Once hired, there was so much excitement generated by the HR group that you felt welcomed.
