Mr. Arthur R. Block, also known as Art, Esq., serves as an Executive Vice President of DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. Mr. Block has been General Counsel and Secretary of Comcast Corporation since November 2002 and serves as its Executive Senior Vice President. Mr. Block serves as Executive Vice President of NBCUniversal Media, LLC and served as its Senior Vice President. He has been a Senior Vice President and Secretary of Comcast Holdings Corp. since June 2000. He served as Senior Vice President of Comcast Corporation from November 2002 to March 2015 and as its Executive Vice President since March 2015. He has been an in-house attorney at Comcast since 1989, becoming General Counsel in 2000. Prior to joining Comcast. Prior to joining Comcast, he was a Partner in the Corporate Department of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen, which he joined in 1978. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of IR-TCI Partners V L P and TCI Ventures Five, Inc., the general partner of American Cable TV Investors 5 Ltd. since January 2000 and its Secretary since November 2002. Prior to November 2002, Prior to January 2000, he served as Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel of Comcast Holdings for more than five years. Mr. Block served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Comcast Cable Communications, LLC since January 2000 and served as Secretary of Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, General Partner of Cable TV Fund 12-b Ltd., Cable TV Fund 12-d Ltd., Cable TV Fund 14-a Ltd. and Cable TV Fund 14-B Ltd since November 2002. Throughout his career, he has specialized in mergers and acquisitions, financings, securities law matters and general corporate counseling. He serves as a Director of NBCUniversal, LLC and Comcast Holdings Corp. He was named a Director of the General Partner's Board of Directors in November 2002. He has been a Director and Secretary of TCI Ventures Five, Inc., the general partner of American Cable TV Investors 5 Ltd. since November 2002. He served as a Director of Cable Communications LLC (General Partner) since November 2002. He serves on the boards of Moore College of Art and Design and City Year Greater Philadelphia. Mr. Block is the lead in-house attorney in Comcast Corp.'s acquisitions of cable businesses such as AT&T Broadband, Jones Intercable and Surburban Cable, as well as controlling interests in non-cable businesses such as QVC, E! Entertainment Television, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers. He received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1975 and his J.D. in 1978 from the University of Michigan Law School.
