Ms. Melissa Maxfield has been Senior Vice President of Congressional and Federal Government Affairs at Comcast Corporation since March 2011. Ms. Maxfield serves as Director, Dedicated Americans for the Senate and the House PAC (DASHPAC), and is responsible for political outreach on behalf of Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) to Democratic Senators and Democratic Senate candidates. Ms. Maxfield served as Vice President of Federal Government Affairs of Comcast Corp., since January 1, 2008. Ms. Maxfield served as Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs at Comcast Corp. since July 23, 2003. Ms. Maxfield served as one of Comcast''s senior lobbyists focused on Congress and the Administration. Before that, Ms. Maxfield served with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee as political liaison for Sen. Daschle, and held several senior fundraising positions with Sen. Daschle, Dick Durbin, and Bob Kerrey. Ms. Maxfield received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Randolph Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
