Customer is everything. But someone need look into internal culture and how internal customers feel. Many of them may become external ones in near future.

They are informal and they provide a lot of autonomy

Treating people as humans and preventing death from exhaustion
Listen to those seeking internal transfers and those choose to quit. Interest group run by those came earlier specially managers/directors. Some manager/director grow quickly with no value addition, others force to quit with humiliation or threats of bad evaluations. Evaluation process broken.

Fast work work or go out culture
The roadmap is clear and very well drafted
Camaraderie, strong team spirit & high energy
Worst manager. He is rarely available, maintains interest group that benefits from each other, hide technical debts from his boss, raising questions by others results retaliation, did not let engineer appraisal to manager, his boss knows it, they keep growing. Nothing based on who performed.

Be brave to tell the truth and ask for clarity
Stand up to management together
Get rid of the toxic engineers who subscribe to the patriarchal model that thinks it is ok to yell at and insult women when they speak up.

Overall, project time estimation is terrible becase folks don't know tech just give dates and push it. Speed is essential. But, voice od engineers should be considered for balance.
