Crusoe Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pension top up is great, though might make leaving early hard. I think the stock options could be valuable.

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 8 days ago

The salary, bonus, and RSUs together make the compensation package especially strong.

Review from HR Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Its very well rounded to include heathcare, vacation, holidays, 401k and sick time!

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Health, vision and dental insurance. Referrals and Bonuses

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Quarterly bonus payouts and equity upside

Review from HR Dept · Posted 9 days ago

There isn't one? It's just very average and only just covers the cost of living. I'm not really amazed by it and can't take vacations or do fun stuff, but I like staying housed.

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 9 days ago

My salary is high for my profession.

Review from Admin Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Is commensurate with my contribution

Review from Product Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Currently in the 90th percentile of pay for my position group. PTO is on par with industry, option to select PPO for health insurance is nice.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Base salary is fine, but bonus structure does not match competitive development shops.

Review from Business Development Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Would have loved to get more stocks as I believe in the company.

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Restricted stock units and base pay. Other benefits (like parental) benefits could be improved

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Without having to beg, get extra perks/salary

Review from IT Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Its hard to just choose one because they really are all great.

Review from Admin Dept · Posted 10 days ago

The company paid lunch program

Review from HR Dept · Posted 10 days ago

the office/workspace that we work in

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 10 days ago

the potential value of my RSUs if we succeed in meeting Crusoe's goals

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Crusoe alway best package for worker

Review from Product Dept · Posted 10 days ago

The value of our RSUs.

Review from HR Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Total comp and RSUs are really good

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

was given very different numbers in my offer letter than what i had negotiated and then only 72 hours to decide on the offer

Review from Finance Dept · Posted 9 days ago

My base salary is quite low and the equity was lower than expected.

Review from HR Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Living in the bay area and being the sole providers its hard to make ends meet to support my big family.

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 9 days ago

The salary for my role needs to be recalibrated to similar roles in the hyperscaler realm.

Review from Finance Dept · Posted 10 days ago

we dont need new furniture or food incentives, what works best is more money into our pockets and NOT the 3% yearly increase when it cost of living increases above 12%

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Bonuses are an afterthought. The 2024 bonus was initially deferred, but ultimately never paid out once we hit the criteria for it to be paid. Multiple 2025 bonus payments often took haircuts due to my management chain not recognising my accomplishments or issues blocking my work

Review from Engineering Dept

Benefits that are actually available, instead of coming soon for 6 months, having previously had zero benefits while on an EOR

Review from Engineering Dept

Being leveled appropriately, relative to my peers: demoting or offboarding dead weight non-performers, and promoting and platforming those that are making a positive impact. Being treated as an adult that can get my work done, regardless of how that happens.

Review from Engineering Dept

Market compensation with movement within my pay grade vs. paid at the same compensation as everyone at my level.

Review from Operations Dept

Hired in too low of a grade level. Expected to be on-call and work weekends in general.

Review from Engineering Dept

Benefits aren't strong, bonus payouts are capricious and defined by hitting secret and undisclosed goals.

Review from HR Dept

Journeyman wages are extremely low raises are not offered to 4th years and the move from 4th year to journeyman wages is extremely low

Review from Operations Dept

The company had a great culture with a hybrid office policy. This meant that people were less stressed and able to do better work. A recent full time return to office policy is undermining that culture.

Review from Legal Dept

The hybrid schedule is what make the 50th percentile pay reasonable. A great mission only makes up for so much inconvenience and lack of trust that a 5-day in office shows.

Review from IT Dept

I think the role I'm doing now is beyond what I was hired to do. I think it would be nice to reevaluate and possibly be put in another pay grade.

Review from HR Dept

The work that I provide is at a higher level than what I'm compensated.

Review from Product Dept

everyone is capable of the same job and all the duties are equal why are there different rankings

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is not market compared to other jobs. I took a big cut to come to Crusoe and have not see that recoup.

Review from Operations Dept

rank of employees there before we started to hire too easily not paid enough, rsu are too low

Review from Engineering Dept

I am below market average. Hearing an office manager makes more than you (even in other cities) can be frustrating and discouraging when you feel you put in an extreme amount of work.
