Trailblazing challenges, Driven co workers
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 14 days ago
I expect new challenges every week at least. And so far they were all doable and in my control, and they get eventually done. Sometimes the same day, sometimes weeks later.

Being part of a hyper-growth company with a fast-paced environment. Things move quickly and I feel like I'm making an impact.
Review from HR Dept · Posted 14 days ago
The company is on an extreme growth path. The RSUs will be insane in a few years
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 14 days ago
I'm nervous that there will be some giant crisis as a result of some other team taking a risk or selling something we can't deliver without working people to death for a few weeks. It's how senior leadership want to run things, so it's not going to change.
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 13 days ago
Deep layers of middle-management leads to extreme disconnection between leadership and execution. A culture of carelessness leads to excessive mistakes and crappy work. When there is no reward for craftsmanship, and no punishment for being lazy, folks just check out and do the bare minimum.

No teaching moments. Lead gets angry and treats you horrible. Instead of sitting down with you and teaching you proper way to do things. Never had trainings. Had to learn as you go. No mentorship whatsoever
Review from Operations Dept · Posted 14 days ago
The executive team needs to better understand how to foster a positive culture. They seem out of touch with the reality of an average worker.

Leadership that shows up to work.
Review from Engineering Dept
It's honestly too long a list.
Review from HR Dept
been hiring too many people without proper skills slow and politic to get anything moving
Review from Engineering Dept
Commute. And it just got worse with new policies.
Review from Operations Dept
Too many layers of management, growing tech debt, and a lack of critical conversations. We're trying to rapidly hire our way out of social problems, and this is only compounding our social problems. :(
Review from Engineering Dept
stop hiring low quality at high rank, unify level
Review from Engineering Dept
Planning and better communication from higher ups. They have good ideas which I can get behind but they do not execute them in a reasonable way.
Review from Product Dept
I'm trying to build a function that doesn't currently exist at Crusoe. Some individuals and teams have to stop doing this function so that my team can do it. People are having difficulty letting go.
Review from Product Dept
Leadership is cascade failing, but blames their subordinates. Their solution is hiring more managers and leaders without any experience doing what we do. It's definition of insanity.
Review from Engineering Dept
There seems to be a disconnect between what the leadership thinks is happening and what is actually going on. There seems to be a culture of telling leadership what they want to hear. It could be improved if more of the leadership team led by example and actually dug in and understood the issues
Review from Operations Dept
The morale is low and the only ways to fix that are to change the pay structure or change who is overseeing the facility
Review from Operations Dept
With the non-transparency or acknowledgment of when people left the company, ppl are on edge. No one feels like they can settle in for fear of getting let go, ppl just gossip when they find out someone left. There is no longer a culture or a lively fun work environment.
Review from Customer Success Dept
Treat everyone with respect, not matter their role. Do not accept toxic behavior from certain employees, just because they are technical experts.
Review from Operations Dept
Dealing with consistent changes in operation that does not improve work flow and makes situations more difficult than they have to be in order to accommodate the same exact individuals every single time.
