Andrew J. Sussman M.D. — Executive Vice President, Associate Chief Medical Officer and President of Minuteclinic LLC at CVS Health

Mr. Andrew J. Sussman, also known as Andy, M.D., has been Associate Chief Medical Officer at CVS Health Corporation since March, 2011. Mr. Sussman has been the President of Minuteclinic LLC at CVS Caremark Corporation since September 2009. He has been the President of MinuteClinic, a subsidiary of CVS Caremark Corporation since July 2009 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since July 2009. He served as Senior Vice President at CVS Health Corporation from March 2011 to March 2015. Mr. Sussman is responsible for all clinical services and daily operations for MinuteClinic's 500 locations across 25 states. He served as Senior Vice President and Associate Chief Medical Officer of CVS Caremark since September 2009. Mr. Sussman also takes charge of the continued development of MinuteClinic in retail health care services. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of UMass Memorial Medical Center, the major teaching affiliate of UMass Medical School. Before joining UMass Memorial in May 2004, Mr. Sussman served as Chief Medical Officer of Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization. He served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. At Brigham and Women's Hospital, he also practiced primary care internal medicine and taught as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is listed among America's Best Doctors. Mr. Sussman is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School and earned an M.B.A. from Boston University School of Management.
