Executive Bio
Mr. Charles Daniel Haron, also known as Dan, Rph, has been Executive Vice President of CVS Health Corp. since January 2018 and also serves as President of Omnicare. In this role, Mr. Haron is responsible for expanding CVS Health's reach in the long-term care pharmacy sector through clinical excellence, enhanced client service and optimized operations. As President of Omnicare he leads the development and management of relationships with the skilled nursing, assisted living and other chronic care settings that utilize Omnicare's services. Prior to his role at CVS Health, he was the Chief Executive Officer at NuScriptRX, Inc since January 2014 and also served as its President. He was as a Member of Board of Directors at NuScriptRx. Mr. Haron served as the President of CIGNA Pharmacy Management since March 2010. He served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Cigna Pharmacy Management for three years. He served as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Pharmacy for Brooks and Eckerd Pharmacy. He was with CVS/Pharmacy for 14 years. Mr. Haron served as Vice President of Pharmacy and Professional Affairs of The Jean Coutu Group (PJC) USA, Inc. He has a wide range of both pharmacy and leadership experience. He joined CIGNA Corporation in 2007 as Vice President of Operations at CIGNA Tel-Drug Home Delivery Pharmacy. While at Cigna, Haron served on the Board of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA). He has held positions of increasing responsibility at People's Drug Stores and Arrow Prescription Centers. He was Director of Pharmacy Operations at CVS Pharmacy. He is affiliated with a number of pharmacy-related boards and associations. He is a Licensed Pharmacist with a wide range of both pharmacy and leadership experience. He has received several achievement awards, including an Alumni Achievement Award from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences.
