Executive Bio

Mr. David L. Casey serves as Chief Diversity Officer and Vice President of Workforce Strategies at CVS Health Corporation. Mr. Casey served as Vice President of Diversity of CVS Caremark Corporation and served as its Vice President since January 2010. He led the CVS Caremark's efforts related to strategic diversity management. He serves as Vice President of Diversity and Workplace Culture of Wellpoint Inc. Mr. Casey has extensive experience in the diversity field having served as Chief Diversity Officer at WellPoint and as Regional Director of Business Development for Bernard Hodes Group. He serves on advisory boards for the American Institute for Managing Diversity and Profiles in Diversity Journal, where he is also a contributing columnist. He was inducted into the National Eagle Leadership Institute in 2006 and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. He is active in the community and with several nonprofit organizations, including the Urban League and United Way. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, he served in Operation Desert Storm.
