Executive Bio
Mr. Mitch Betses R.Ph. has been an Executive Vice President of Member & Government Services and PBM Innovation at CVS Health Corporation since September 1, 2017. In this role, Mr. Betses is responsible for leading the overall Medicare, Medicaid and Marketplace Exchange agendas, PBM Specialty, Mail, Clinical and Customer Care operations, as well Product and Process Innovation agendas. Throughout his career he has had a passion for developing strategies to promote the appropriate use of pharmacy care as a key lever to improving patient outcomes. In his former role as Senior Vice President of Retail Pharmacy Services, Mr. Betses was instrumental in the discovery and delivery of programs that have allowed CVS Health to differentiate in the marketplace, including Pharmacy Advisor?? program. In addition to his responsibilities at CVS Health, Mr. Betses serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Pharmacy Quality Alliance. Mr. Betses is a pharmacist, with a degree in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
