What do you like best about the leadership team?
They sincerely care. They push for action and impact but they also encourage us to take a mental break.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is no sense of competition. The company has done a great job in paying everyone fairly and promoting folks in a timely manner, so no one feels that they are in competition. There is space for everyone to do well.
What makes you most happy at work?
work-life balance. working from home means that I can pick my son up from track practice and also make it to the gym in the morning. I also love my managers, there is an "open-door policy" and no question is off the table.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I loved that DataStax had an interview specifically for values. The interviewer explained to me what the company's values were and asked me to describe situations where I experienced that value - could be at work or in my personal life. Living the values is important here and it starts at the top.
