Focus on bringing in and developing strong talent and building the firm’s capabilities. There’s a lot of talk about comp, which is fine. But it never matters if people don’t know how to think through problems. Teach them to think.

Challenging cases with generally good interviewers. Remember that, no matter how you performed on the case, you still have to pass the airport test. “Would I want to be stuck at an airport with this person when our flight is delayed? Could we get a beer together?”

There will be great managers and terrible managers. The terrible managers will make your time at Deloitte hell and the great managers will most likely be promoted. be prepared to make your work your life as there is no such thing as 'work life balance' like they try and portray.

depends on project. rarely got to take vacation had almost all my vacation time.
There is an official PTO benefit but taking an actual “vacation” is practically impossible due to the blur between work and personal life at Deloitte.

Not as inclusive and supportive as it promotes itself to be and I think it's because management is always chasing the next big project to compete for. The the focus seemed to be directed towards recruiting as many applicants as possible to staff the next project.
