Devon R. Watson — VP & Chief Marketing Officer at Diebold

Mr. Devon Watson has been Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated since October 4, 2017. Mr. Watson leads the Diebold Nixdorf's global marketing operations and strategy, focuses on driving growth through industry thought leadership and effective customer-facing campaigns. He served as Vice President of software strategy and operations at Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated. He joined Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated in 2012 and has held a number of leadership roles in solution strategy and innovation. Prior to joining Diebold, he held go-to-market positions in software, cloud-based services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. He served as an Associate at Primary Venture Partners. His primary responsibilities included business plan review, due diligence and financial analysis. He served as a Director of Business Development at Apprenda Inc. Mr. Watson held an internship at Updata Venture Partners. He co-founded a business intelligence start-up, where Mr. Watson developed the business plan, managed product development and led the effort to obtain funding. He began his career as a Technology Consultant leading business intelligence, data warehousing and web-based application development projects for clients in the manufacturing, distribution and business service sectors. Mr. Watson holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Clarkson University, where he developed a strong background in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management.
